what I do

about me
I am a Brazilian living in Dublin, since 2006. I left behind a job for life as a Nutrition Technician in Sao Paulo Hospital to come to Dublin in 2006. I went back to college in Ireland to study Social Science, and a Postgraduate course in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Trinity College.
I have worked in various areas from childcare, NGOs, and jobs in the tech sector. I have also been volunteering in various causes from supporting migrants, to improvement in the maternity services.
After losing my daughter Beatriz at 22 weeks and surviving septicaemia in December 2018, I embarked on an unexpected healing journey which involved Ireland, Brazil and India. This personal tragedy transformed into purpose and became my path to resilience.
My story isn't just about overcoming grief—it's about transforming it into purpose. Through yoga, aromatherapy, massage, and my work as a Postnatal Bereavement Doula, I've discovered that our deepest wounds can become our greatest gifts to others.
I have rewritten my own story as: Jane is a mother of 2 angels: Beatriz (22 weeks) and Kaique (12 weeks). I am also a trauma-informed yoga teacher, Corrective Manual Therapist, Aromatherapist, Postnatal Bereavement Doula, Sound and Reiki practitioner.
